Evil Eye of the L46 momma

Well, mistakes happen. This morning, my dominate L46 female was popping out of her cave and flaring whenever I walked by. She did this several times before I had to check tank conditions and make sure everything was okay. Temp was 72F; forgot to plug the heater back in last night after the water change. Back to 82F, and she's back to loafing around in her cave. But look at that glare!

Those L46's sure are beauties when you're able to get a good look at them. Good picture and good story to go with it.

Thanks! You actually see them a fair bit if you paint the bottom or use substrate. The juvies and males rarely leave structure, but the females are always scooting around.
