    Added 2 gephagus fish
Have you added sand to the tank? Coz Geo's usually need sand to thrive.

Hi Hidan thank you for looking after the geophagus fish but I won’t be adding sand to the aquarium because it is still a grow out discus tank. Here is an update blue phantom pleco

Hi goldfish. Sorry to hear you're having problems. I'd suggest posting in the disease section. Fill out the questionnaire and give as much info as possible: water parameters, behaviour, close up photos of sick discus. It's all there, in the questionnaire. Someone with experience can help. In the mean time, can you QT the sick fish? If so, then get them in there until someone can help....

Thank you Rob for trying to help my fish tank. I think the problem is ick or cold temperature. I recently switching from 2 thermometers to 1. They fluctuating in temperature causes the discus to darken up. I am upping to 90 degree and monitoring. The discus are still eating and dead yet. Will update soon.

After 2 days of half dosage of
Melafix. 3x10ml. Discus are swimming better but dark in color. I am monitoring not to over dose or plecos will die. Temperature is upping to 92. So far so good.

It may not be related but I’m wondering if the discus darkened a week after adding the geophagus? Just something to consider while you try to help them get better. You sure have a pretty group there. I hope they feel better soon.

If the discus are happy, I’m happy
