I have many great memories of past places in AZ, WI, TN, KY that I'd like to revisit.......but.......if I had usage of a Star Trek transporter system, I'd transport to Kenny's Discus to see both his system/fish and meet, in person, (Kenny Cheung) whom I've so come to admire and appreciate.

Great pics Al! I would like to be on a cruise ship, out in the middle of the ocean, sitting at the railing just watching the sky, clouds and water. I love being at sea. With all the comforts of a big ship of course...

I've actually never been on a cruise ship...but from what I have seen and heard they sound like alot of fun. One of my sisters is a cruise fanatic. Seems shes always on one for her vacations.

The 1st pic is from Hanauma bay and the 2nd is from Koolina both in Oahu island . I believe the 3rd pic is from Kauai, one of the smaller island.

I already booked mine 3 ago months and it wasn't that cheap. Unfortunately, Alaskan airlines doesn't allow us to cancel it even though the volcano is currently erupting.

Love this post Al. I'm with you on the Cape... as well as Kenny's. Let's get a bus and all just do a road trip. Pick up SD people on the way and storm Kenny's fish room! I also spent my summers on a ranch in Laramie, Wyoming as a young girl and would spend hours out riding along the Little Laramie River. That would be a great place to be...
There are of places I'd rather be right now but I happen to have a photo of one of my favorite places. Just looking at the photos brings the scent of salt air, that gentle breeze that blows in off the ocean. The sound of the birds and the water lapping. This is the inlet near the tiny cottage we returned to year after year on Nauset Heights in Cape Cod with the kids. I would grab my clam basket and rake and head out by myself at low tide. Most days I would be the only one out there.... I'd wade in and spend some much needed time in my own head while pulling the most beautiful clams out of the water. Sometimes as many as three or four to a pull. It was hard to quit when the basket was full and I could get away with more time by exchanging some that I had for better sizes depending what I would turn them into that evening. We don't rent that cottage any longer but I do still renew my license every year and hit the first low tide in that beautiful place as soon as I can manage it. There should be a sign for soul renewal stuck in the sand because when you leave there your soul is fresh and peaceful.
Al, I hope you get to revisit your favorite places very soon. In the mean time keep those colorful images close. They can carry you for now....
