If you don’t hear from me tomorrow I’ll be busy wiping up 650 gallons of water.

Well that’s a cliff hanger! Sleep well tonight. Ha ha

Rock solid. Thank god, no drama as with the last one. A
Meh, celebrated too early. Got some moisture enclosed between front and bottom panel. So tomorrow front panel is coming off and gets redone. Same thing happened with my 325, in the end it took 5 months from order to setting it up. Hope this time round it won’t take as long.
On a positive note, it seems there is already a pair forming in the qt, one of the Iripixi and one Nhamunda red are hitting it off, defending a whole third of the tank. Not so fun for the others, but hey, gotta find a silver lining somewhere.
I don’t think I have given this one a proper feature yet, Iripixi solid. Very nice shape

And just for fun: I can only imagine the colours photographed with a decent camera

The elusive Ica, really hard to get a proper picture of this one, always in the wrong place at the wrong time

Sorry about the reflection, but here is one of the Panaquolus albomaculatus (LDA31)

Unfortunately all the other plecos are still in hiding during the day. But they’ll get there eventually
Quite the size difference between the Nhamunda on the left and the Cuipeua. Both stunners in their own right

I was supposed to get a workout in today, but instead “wasted” my time looking at fish. Well done Tobi
Last one for today, I promise. Part of the cleanup crew, C. arcuatus (Skunk Cory)

looks great
Of course I’m not forgetting about the old crew, but it’s virtually impossible to get a proper picture, they’re always begging

So we’ve resealed the front of the tank, letting it cure for a week, means leak testing again coming Sunday. To bridge the time I might get into what I have in mind for filtration in the coming days. Spoiler alert, it’s gonna be canisters again
In the meantime please admire my inability to take decent pictures of one of my favorite fish. Enjoy:

Wow! I think that’s also my favorite, but I admit I’m fickle. Definitely a prize fish.
