Thanks Adam. I looked at some videos on line (people with better skills than me-ha ha) You are right even with my terrible video! You really are a fish whisperer.

So there were no eggs this morning and it seems the spell has been broken for the BD’s. The Koi and Fugi Red we’re practicing (still are) with Koi sliding her belly on the overflow. I’ll try to take a pic but I haven’t been having any luck loading pics today on my other thread.image.jpg
Odd that it works here but not there. It’s not a good shot because I didn’t expect to work. Sorry

Patty I've seen those same worms around my sponge filter too. I have no idea where they can from.

Love the setup Patty, btw what kind of Cory Cats are those?(I like the green tint they have) I used to dislike Corys for some reason, i recently put a school of albinos in my planted tank...and I enjoy watching them more than any fish in the room, they are super entertaining.

I think they are called bronze, but I like the green tint too. I’d like to add some more. They are a great clean up crew and can take the higher temps like the Sterbai cories. I’d like some for my angel tank as soon as I get my hospital tank back I’m looking for some for both tanks. I love the way they swim or sit together in a group.

Corydoras aeneus. Not the absolute best choice for discus temps, but they survive no problem. The commercial strains are tough as nails.

    Thanks Geoff,
It would be more gorgeous if it had one of those heavenly silver pigeons of yours.

These must be commercial strains. I worried when I raised the temp to 84 for 3 weeks, but they handled it. I do miss the Cory tracks I’d see in the morning when I had sand. What’s the optimal temp for Bronze (Aeneas) Cory’s?
On another note, I checked my tds and it was 225-228. Those beautiful plecos of yours like 100.

Ideal is anywhere from mid 60's to 80, give or take. The only reason I said "not the absolute best" is because the warm water cories do exceptionally well at discus temps.

That TDS is fine for zebras. People even breed them at much higher TDS readings.

Thanks Adam. I’m wanting to get maybe 6 Sterbae and some more bronze Cory’s. So now I’m thinking of putting my bronze in the angel tank (temp 80) and putting the Sterbae in the discus tank. It will be a while before I can add anything as my quarantine tank is a hospital tank at the moment. One or two of those cute little zebras would be great for my discus tank too. I’m not looking to breed, but have to admit it’d be pretty cool.

My discus are easiest to photograph during that magical time right after wc. I have to take pics from the back of the tank because of the reflection with the light that comes through the sliding glass doors.
