    Default Goldfish contest thread

    120 gallon tank
    14 discus
    8 plecos
    2 corycat
    2 tiger barb
    2 geophagus
    Long term goal is to keep all fishes alive as long as possible and to all discus 7 “ plus.

    Wc is by the sump 1/3 cold water 2/3 hot water straight from the tap

    Not what I was expecting when I clicked "goldfish contest thread," but nice tank none the less! Is it a typical 4x2x2 120 gallon? Looks really tall in the pictures.

    Hi Pat my discus are from Tony at sunrisetropicals.com from October 2017. Size most are from 2.8-3” and few are from 4” discus. Tony had retired from discus so this my last discus tank from him.

    Wow your discus really are thick,healthy and colorful. What kind of pleco is that? Love the bright yellow polka dots and stripes.

    Thank you for your nice comments Patty. The yellow porka dots fish is a gold nugget pleco. My discus are feed with grounged beef. They are multiple times a day. Wc are done Every other days to ensure healthy fishs.AC61704D-95C1-4D48-81A9-1527DB26F04A.jpg

    lookin good mate! love the pleco's as well!! By "grounded beef" do you mean store bought "hamburger" meat?
