    Goldies are difficult plecos for discus tanks. Though they enjoy warm water, they are almost entirely herbivorous. You also need to trust your source greatly or be able to pick them yourself.

    Some better options include: L128 (blue phantom), L200 (green phantom, two species) and L14 (sunshine pleco). L14 are particularly good but grow larger than the other two.

    Hi Daniel
    My discus eats home made beef from the supermarket for human to eat. After purchasing 2 pounds of meat, i ask the meat personnel to put it in the grinder for three passes. Flat the meat and freeze it. My discus love it more than frozen blood worm.

    I was looking at the goldy this afternoon but did not buy the suckerfish. My plecos bought from the same local fishstore. So far so good.
