Apisto(s) or GBR/Gold Rams?
Tank Info:
72 Gallon Bowfront w/30 Gallon Sump
Planted w/sand bottom - have driftwood and rocks
Gets daily waterchanges, 83F 8.11pH
Stock so far
7 Serpae Tetras
6 Emerald Cory Cats
2 BN Plecos
This is an office tank that was a reef tank that I converted over to freshwater because I could no longer take the time needed for a reef tank. Office is loving the tank setup so far and is excited for the "colorful fish". However since it was a reef tank prior, they are use to different fish and inverts of various body shapes and sizes. I wasn't planning on adding else to this stock other then the discus, but I'm wondering if there is room in this tank to squeeze in some Rams or Apistos?

You have room for either rams or apistos, but they may seem a bit small in a 72gal. You may want to research a slightly larger dwarf cichlid that have the same personality ish of an apisto or ram. I highly recommend keyhole cichlids or laetacara curviceps, right now I am trying biotodoma cupido with my discus but I've had dicrossus filamentosus with them for a while.

Take a look at Bolivian Rams, they are (in my opinion) the nicest of all the dwarf cichlids. Blue Rams can be very aggressive.
