How To Build: DIY Rustic Style Fish Tank Stand

Hi guys. I made a simple stand that i feel anyone with a very basic skills and tools can make:

Nice work Marc, on both accounts , the video and the stand look .
I personaly woudnt dare to make stands out of wood for anything bigger than 50-60 gallons though .Im a fan of metal profile stands I guess .
And what about daily water spills during maintenance ? Is the wood secured from getting wet and bulging after some time ?

I've made wood stands for up to 125g and if i would have had a larger tank i would have felt comfortable with using wood as well. You just take the proper precautions when building as you would outdoor furniture (coatings and such)

That, and making sure that the stand is well supported by the floor rather than nails and screws.

I think we are ok on that front mate. There is about 7 coats of water proof resin on top lol
