Mine have already been done. It's a daily thing for me so it's no biggie.
I really do, but I'm hoping I'm not alone.

Mine is Friday’s on all tanks ... discus tanks get 3 times a week
Just finished the water change..............brutal.
Done 60 gal on one mbuna tank (weekly) and now doing 60 gal daily water change on discus. Tomorrow nano-southamerican and goldfish + daily discus and so on and so forth...
That was my thought. Heck, if I had to use buckets I wouldn't even be able to keep fish. I do draining and refilling with the help of pumps. If fish keeping becomes a chore you will burn out.

Would never be able to keep discus using buckets for water changes.
Towards the end of my dicus owning days, all my tanks were almost fully automated. After pulling my back out a couple of times and just simply getting frustrated/tired/lazy about the whole process, i ended up routing a water feed line right next to my tank (H&C) and a added a PVC drain pipe that was plumbed right to the back of the tank which just required a turn of a knob. WC's on my 75 was like 10 minutes including vacuum.
