    Tricia,
Welcome to the forum. Sorry to.hear of the problems. The first thing you should do is contact the seller and explain whats going on with the fish. Its important to keep them in the loop. They may have suggestions for you.

It sounds like the fish may have a bacterial infection. Do you have another tank to use as a hospital tank? If not even a plastic tub or garbage can will do. You really dont want it shedding pathogens into the tank so it should be separated. You can try epsom salt (magnesium sulphate) from the drug store at 1 tablespoon per 10 gals that may flush out its gut. You will probably need to use an antibiotic.. maracyn 2 is a good choice and usually found at petshops...alternatively kanamycin sulfate can be used or furan 2 as a last option.

Hmmm, Im honestly not seeing this as being something Prazi pro will treat. Im going to double down on my previous advice regarding possible bacterial infection.

Al I hadn't seen your thoughts on the prazi before I listened to the suppliers instructions.

I dosed with prazi and he seems a little better in that he is swimming around more and fins aren't clamped. Still won't eat though. How long can he go without eating? Do I need to dose again? When I purchased the prazi at lfs he suggested its because he's being picked on, which doesn't sound right to me. There are two discus that are aggressive towards the others though. Especially during feeding. I turn off the hob and put food on both sides of the tank to help resolve that issue.

Received an email from where I purchased. Wasn't to thrilled with it. Said they were eating fine and had no white poop prior to my pickup. Its a little irritating considering I've had them for 2 days. Is it really possible that my quarantine tank caused this? and in such short time? Ive never even seen the one fish eat.

Should I wait it out or try your suggestion now? I don't want to over medicate and make things worse. Thanks for your help btw

So excited! He’s eating frozen blood worms. Since I got them on Sunday this is the first time he’s eaten.
