Really coloring up nicely Pat! Especially against that black foam back drop. Ive been debating changing the background color to something darker on mine instead of white - maybe not black but a darker blue might bring out their colors more in my tank.

Thanks Eric, the dark foam is actually a divider in the tank. I wouldn't suggest black. If your guys graze the tops of the sponges you might note that they turn dark to blend with the sponge.

So earlier today I mentioned getting a AC 70.it arrived today and I installed it on the tank. The fish were not happy at first then I feed them halved FDBW cubes and all was forgiven lol.

Oops, between keeping track of Brian/Bryan & white and blue, if seem to have forgotten my grammar. Yes, exchanging a blue tank for a white tank was a task, but I am very impressed with Bryan's incredible job raising fry in just 10 gallons of water, in a half full 20 gallon tank.

Also, excellent pictures Pat. I'm guessing you have a very nice lens on that nice camera body. : > )

Thanks Craig, the lens is a Sigma 150 macro with a 12mm extension tube so I can get closer to the fish with the lens. I really like this lens.

So the nitrate remover pad arrived today and I cut a piece to fix into the AC 70 and installed it. Hope to see a reduction in nitrates with the 8pm WC. Something below 5ppm. Nitrates were zero after the 10pm WC.

The fish in the two middle photos have incredible shape, Pat! Gj!

Pat, do you edit your photos or is that straight from the camera? Love the details!

Thanks Mando, the images are minimally edited, generally adjusted for whites, blacks, a little dehaze and charity. If I edited too much the fish do not look right.
