The original parents of Al's ss pair were a blue HB snakeskin male and a blue ss female, both from Kenny/Forrest, purchased possibly a couple years apart. The male did not have a pronounced high body, just nice and round and large. They produced ss and turks, so I would call them blue turks. I think there's something about Brian's lighting that is bringing out the red. Or maybe what he's feeding I have a turk from the original parents that looks a lot like Patty's avatar, above.

I think it's something in the translation from the tank to the camera. While they are developing very nice colors, and the reds are true, the blues aren't showing as much as in the tank.

What a big beautiful bunch of fish. The patterns and colors are excellent. I know it’s a ton of work, but must feel really good to get them to this point. Lucky fish landing in your tank.

Very round and nice looking discus Brian .One of them looks almost like a tiger turq with it's vertical patterns .
It's amazing how different they look from their sibilings that Pat grows .Different light in your tanks and different cameras make them look like a completely different strains with yours being red and Pat's being blue discus .Both colours appearances look great though , each in their own way .
