You are a victim of your own success! They are a real pleasure to look at, well done so far

Thank everyone! I don't have any real updates. They are all doing great, still eating like pigs and steadily growing. I've been trying to introduce additional foods with limited success. They will eat Colorbits, Discus Chow and freeze dried black worms with reluctance, but they still insist on beef heart... I plan to move them into a 40g tank this weekend...

Well, I'm not sure if there is much growth since last weeks update, but they are all still eating like pigs and happy.

I've tried introducing additional foods like FD brine shrimp, FD black worms and Colorbits, and they accept reluctantly, but they still insist on beef heart. While my BH mix is very nutritious, I feel they need a more varied diet. I really want to get them onto other foods, so I have BH flakes arriving soon.

I still am impressed with the health and genetics!!! Photo may be deceiving, but the largest is about 2.5".

Looking good Jeep. Im in the same boat - they all like the BH mix but dont seem to want anything else. Wont even go for the remaining discus pellets Al sent... Let us know how the BH flakes work out.

I gave them another new home yesterday and they don't look so big anymore I moved them from the 20g to a 40g and they adapted almost instantly.

While they still prefer my beef heart mix, they are also eating beef heart flakes and to a lessor degree, FD brine shrimp (just as a digestive aid from time to time).

I'm testing a new beef heart recipe that I adapted from someone else and it has a very high content of healthy greens and fruits along with the regular bh and shrimp. This stuff smells great and could probably be served in a human restaurant While it's a huge hit with all my fish, it does tend to melt a little more than my old recipe. I made enough to last a year, so when I make it again I will probably double the shrimp content and/or add some gelatin.

Colors are coming through and while there is one or two slightly smaller, they all have great shape.
