    Default Discus with extreme bloat

    Hi,
I have a discus with a very very bloated belly. I have tried epson salt baths but not helped.

    Any recommendations?
The discus is not eating been nearly 2weeks and keeps its self in one corner away from the rest.

Do you have any pictures? Is it a blue diamond? Have you filled out the disease questionnaire?

    Hi Top Dog,
As Pat mentioned, in the reply window, the third icon from the right on the top menu bar lets you select and upload a pic. I always have it on my computer to select. If it's to big you have to resize it first.
The questionnaire helps give better idea of your tank.

Hi Top-Dog, you have 10 posts now. Use the insert image (third icon in from the far right). Once you click on the icon click on from computer and the basic uploader in the bottom right corner. This will allow you to select a picture and then upload the pic to the forum. Be sure the picture is 2MB or less.

Holy guacamole! My gut feeling (sorry for the lame pun) is that is some kind of tumor rather than bloat

Im sorry but this fish will almost certainly not recover. It could be a tumor of some kind of infection internally but its hard to tell. Im very surprised its still alive.

If it were mine I would euthanize it at this point given its not eating and so badly distended.
