    Default Chicken stew

First I cook a couple corned beef briquettes and save the broth as this will be the liquid in the chicken stew.

Add family pack of chicken thighs, and simmer overnight.
about two hours before meal time bring simmered chicken to a boil and add frozen vegetables to your liking (I use a cauliflower broccoli mix, and carrot slices, corn, and green beans).

about an hour from dinner time I add two cans of Grans biscuits and put the lid back on the pot.

It is as simple as that.

As to the corned beef I like to eat it with grated red potatoes and fried eggs.

Interesting. I never heard of using the juice from a corned beef and cook it with chicken?

I didn't want to throw the broth from the corned beef out, and wanted to make soup/stew with chicken so I figured what the heck and boiled the chicken in the broth from the corned beef. Corned beef broth is salty; so I didn't add any salt to the stew.
