    Question Fin Rot? Bullying?

The smallest discus that I have has some chunks taken out of his fin. He does get picked on quite a bit.

Current parameters: Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 3~

Any cause for concern from any more experienced members here?

That just looks like normal damage from bickering or maybe a scare and a scrape against something.

    HI Jody .
Whenever you see fin rot , pimple , broken scale , Nod or something odd on their fins or skin your first course of action should be increased water quallity and tank hygene.
Many of those problems are pretty common and heal on their own very quickly with just more fresh water .

Good heuristic to go by - everything seems to be healed up nicely now!
