Keep up with large, frequent water changes. It solves a lot of problems!

    Good luck, Willie

This looks like a gas bubble to me on this s
last photos Kfactor. But I wonder why and how it got there?
Do you age your water prior WC ?
Can that be a trapped gas bubble from doing large Straight - tap/ unaged WCs ?

I would try Epsom salt baths first to see if it helps in expelling that bubble out . No harm in trying that anyway .

I think it looks like theres some swelling around the eye...with your water quality being good, I think it likely a bacterial infection that got established. The swelling was not very noticeable when you first posted but its definitely getting worse not better. I would definitely quarantine. I would also pick up some kanamycin or maracyn 2 and treat the fish. I don't think it will get better on its own.

kanaplex might work too . It's an antibiotic for bacterial infections too.

Yes Kanamycin is added straight in the water.
I tend to shake meds in a glass / bottle of water prior adding to
the tank to dissolve it faster .
