Very nice.

These are a little more colorful than our Scrub Jays.

We have Magpies here mainly.

I love scrub jays. I’ve never seen them up close like this. Do you have a lot of scrub jays in your area? I’ve gone looking for them and I’ve seen my cousin post pics of her standing with peanuts and the scrub jays plucking them out of her hands. The only thing stopping me is trying to be there at 6:30-7:00 am. Definitely going now. Thanks for sharing. Also notice bands on this guy and know their habitat is threatened due to developing.

Probably two of the best areas to see them That I have found in Florida is Jonathan Dickersons State Park and Oscer Scherers State Park.

What a great idea! Oscar Scherer’s is 35 minutes away. I love that place and I’m ready for a hike after this blazing summer. Thanks for reminding of this gem. Hope I see them.
