My Discus Never Cease to Confound Me

The pair spawned again sometime between last night's feeding and this morning's. I never noticed any pre-breeding behavior, but this morning I had eggs and not a single baby was left in the tank.

I'd be heart broken if I weren't so used to being disappointed by my Discus.

I've had to temper my expectations for working with these &^%* fish as well...

Well, here's hoping they'll do better this time...

I just hope that the eggs hatch. With this pair sometimes they do. Usually they do not. If I get lucky, I'll remove the kids at 6 days, just to be safe.
