Congrats Keith where are the wiggler pictures??

At long last the reds have confirmed they are indeed a pair. A week and a half ago I left for a work trip and a weekend with Susan in between, leaving a small batch of eggs behind. I've no idea what happened with that batch, but I returned Friday to find a couple dozen wrigglers. Still a long way to go, but there's hope in the fish romance department.

Awesome ! love to see some tank pictures of these beautiful fish.
That is exciting news! Seems like they like to have fry as a welcome home surprise when people are away. I think I remember Larry having the same thing happen. Coincidence? Anyway, so glad you’re going to have some show quality discus-congratulations!
Patty
If the discus are happy, I’m happy
Congrats. That is a beautiful pair!
You must be doing some clean living, Keith. Pick two spectacular fish, then have them pair off and spawn. Good for you!

At my age, everything is irritating.
Thanks all. At this point I've got about a half dozen free swimmers that are mostly wandering the tank, clearly not enough to worry about. I need to do a thorough tank cleaning as I have food debris on the bottom of the tank so some of them will probably fall victim to that. All in all I don't expect anything to come out of this attempt, but hopefully the parents are doing so learning and we'll make it further next time.

Congrats Keith,
Hoping to get some of your upcoming fry as my next grow out. Fingers crossed.
The first small batch disappeared and so have the subsequent batches of eggs. Not the direction I was hoping they would go.
