    Default Fluval E- series heaters

I just want to say that I have had very good luck with the Fluval E-300 and E-200 heaters.

I was using just one E-300 in my 75 gallon tank which is by a large window that faces east, one would keep it very close to parameters (I set the heaters for 82 degrees), but sometimes in the winter the tank would drop to 75 degrees. I added a second E-300 in this 75 gallon tank and the temp has stayed constant even though the house drops to just below 70 degrees in the evening the heaters keep the tank at a solid 82 degrees.

I wanted to make sure before I add discus again that I won't have heater issues (cheap heaters boiling the fish or quitting and letting the fish get too cold).

I also added a Fluval E-200 in my 20 gallon standard and when I do a 50% water change the temp will drop to 75, but this heater will warm the water to 82 and keep it at a solid 82 in the 20 gallon tank which is by a bedroom window in a room I keep around 70 degrees (I like it cooler when I sleep).

So buy the Fluval E series heaters with confidence.

I've used them for several years and they're my favorite. I use Aqueon Pros in my water barrel and Fluval Es for tanks. I did have to remove the plastic guard or I'd get low flow warnings. No big deal since they went into a sump.

I am pretty sure they can be set in the very high 80s or low 90s.

It is a pity that, as far as I can see, Schego heaters are not easily available in the US. Best titanium heaters ever

+1 on the Fluval E heaters. Also, the Hydor in-line heaters are great. Mine is going strong at 15 years. Also, the old ViaAqua titaniums were good too.
