My advice would be to get a separate temperature controller, STC 1000 are cheap but require some wiring while inkbird 308 cost a little more (but you should be able to get it from Amazon under 40 bucks) but comes ready to use and has more bells and whistles (literally, you can set allarms for temperature too high and too low). With mine the temperature in the tanks varies no more than 0.3 degrees Celsius. You plug your heaters (set a little higher) into the socket and it will control the temperature very precisely
