Nice work. The fry look really good. What does the spawning tank look like? I always love qpistos but I don't have any luck with them. It's frustrating

very basic, it's a 20G, about half the bottom covered by gravel, some java fern, and anubias plants. It really isn't set up as a breeder tank.... even has some tetras and SAE's.

    Week 7 update.

Starting to see color on a few apistogramma fry. They are now just under an inch to 3/4"

Seeing a lot more males coloring up. These fish are now around 8 weeks and are just under 1 inch.

They are getting pretty much a discus diet with the exception of additional baby brine.

    Tetra color granules
    Discus Gold
    bug bites
    flake food
    Beef Heart
    baby brine
    Rapashy

Nice looking fish but I especially like the ones with the red tails and 1/2 black bodies.
