Will be freeing this tank of some plants and fish very soon. Want to give the discus more room. Others do say leave it, but I want more room for the discus.

Your discus are beautiful. I like the rams and cardinals too.

Thank you. Consistent large water changes did them well. I have learned so much about the care of discus here, that one would never really know about. They aren't huge but a decent size and very healthy thus far. I never really had a hitch with them. There is no pulling punches here, which I like very much.

I learned everything about discus here too and I’m still learning. I finally started a discus notebook.
Your discus have nice shapes and eye ratios. That you did it in a planted tank is even more impressive. How long have you been growing them out?

Thank you, but they weren't raised in a planted tank. I got them as 2.5-3 inch juvies and grew them in a 40 breeder for about 5 months and then put them in the 90 still bare bottom. I can't really remember when I first added plants. I removed plants and then put them back.....lol. Removing some again.

Great job Megatrev . It's hard to beat the beauty and serenity of a single strain discus tanks .

Nice tank! How do you keep your logs standing up in the tank?
