Oh how small we are in the spectrum of life (thunderstorm image)

I shot this last year as a thunderstorm moved by the house. My wife has a photo of me at the tripod with a thunderhead behind me that makes me look as small as an ant (she took her photo with a cell phone).

Here is the thunderstorm shot with the Pentax K-1, Pentax 24mm 1:2 lens, 10 stop ND filter at a 30 second exposure:

Dave that s a great Shot! Almost looks HDR, I like it! I'm nominating it for the pic of the month!

It really is amazing what that little 24mm lens can do. I have even used it as a faux macro as it has a closer focusing distance than my macro lens.
