Default Love is in the Air.....

Well, here's the story I didn't know where to post this so I'll start here. Just received my discus from Kenny last Tuesday, they weren't interested in any food so I figured they needed to settle in some more so I waited till Thursday and fed some of Al's blackworms, nothing. So I bumped up the temperature to 86 degrees, waited and this is what happened, 2 started shaking then 3,4,5 now pretty much all are doing some form of love dance. There either fighting with one or the other but not really interested in food. The only thing I haven't tried yet to feed them is live California blackworms, I don't know if I should place the 2 that I think are forming a pair or leave them be and see if I can find some other solution, any ideas...…………………...Jim in Ohio

    Awesome Jim,
I'd just let them do their thing.. Don't worry about the feeding. Let them pair up first. Try feeding a little each day, they will feed. If you really want to get them eating try Hikari Frzn blood worms, Thats Kenny main food if he hasn't changed anything in a while. Its probably what they know best.

    good luck!

My fish from Kenny won't eat anything but the Hikari frozen bloodworms, but MAN do they go to town on those bloodworms, it's like damn they're Piranhas!!! None of my other fish can get a morsel until the Discus are finished.
