Pretty happy with these guys especially since they are the first fish I ever kept.
Time for the monthly update. The fish are doing great, ever since I moved them into the new tank they seem more active and happy. I painted the bottom white on the new tank and it seems to not create the mirror effect that I had with the white card stock I used on the 65. The fish don't seem to spook as easily as they did and I would say it is due to the painted bottom.
My runt has done a lot better in the new tank as well. First to the food and more interactive with the group. I think he has grown some too.
No breeding activity yet, but I do notice two fish that tend to stay close together all the time. Maybe in the next couple months I will start to see some activity.
As I approach the one year mark of my discus journey I am even more enthralled and addicted to these fish. Every day I spend a large portion of my time thinking/planning on how I can get more of them. Definitely a rewarding fish to own.
Update pics mate? Can you post a full tank shot so we can see your set up? Glad you're enjoying your journey, and thanks for sharing it with us!
