    Problem

    1. Please explain the problems with your fish. When did you notice the problems and did anything unusual happen that you think started them?
JUST NOTICED THAT EVERY TIME I WALKED BY THE TANK THEY IN SAME SPOT AND WHEN I DID FEED THEM TODAY THEY DIDN'T REALLY RUN AFTER IT LIKE THEY HAVE
    BEEN DOING

    2. Symptoms (i.e. turning dark, excess slime, not eating, clamped fins, flashing, darting, clamped gills, white/yellow/green poop, hiding, headstanding or tailstanding, white on tips of fins, rotting or fungus, blisters/white zits on fish, bloated, cloudy eyes, wounds).
JUST NOW AFTER THINKING ABOUT IT THEY DID EAT A LITTLE IF IT FLOATED IN THEIR FACE BUT DIDN'T RUN AFTER ANY AND HAVE STAYED IN THE BACK CORNER ALDAY

    3. What medications/ treatments have you already tried and what were the results. Include dosage and duration of treatment.
NOTHING TODAY WHEN I FIRST GOT THEM SOME OF THE FISH IN THE TANK AT THE LFS HAD ICK SO I TREATED WITH MARDEL PARA SHEILD FOR 5 DAYS AS SAYS ON BOTTLE

    Tank/Water

    4. Tank size and ages, numbers and sizes of fish. 29 GALLON

    5. Water change regime (What percentage and how often). AROUND 50% EVERYDAY

    6. How long has tank been running? Is it bare bottom? If you have substrate, what type and how deep is it? THE TANK BEEN RUNNING ABOUT 8 OR 9 MONTHS WITH TETRAS NEON AND SERPAE MOVED THEM TO A NEW TANK KEPT THIS 29 GALLON RUNNING FOR NEW FISH

    7. Do you age your water? If you do for how long and what is the ph swing. I DO NOT AGE WATER IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE SAME

    8. Parameters and water source;

Note: Water Parameters are important in diagnosing problems within a tank. If you don't own test kits for the following information, you can purchase them, test your parameters and post this info as soon as possible.

    - temp __84___

    - ph _____ 6.8

    - ammonia reading ____0

    - nitrite reading ____0

    - nitrate reading ____0

What type of water or combinations of water sources do you use? If it is an RO/tap/well water mix, please list percentages in the mix. WELL WATER ONLY

    - well water ____

    - municipal water ____

    - RO water ____

    9. Any new fish, plants or inverts added recently. JUST THESE 2 DISCUS IN THIS TANK

    10. Please tell us what you feed your fish and how often. This can be critical information for solving the problem so be as specific as you can.
HIKARI BLOOD WORMS TETRAMIN XL TROPICAL FLAKES THREE TIMES A DAY AND HAVE DROPPEDSOME NEW SPECTRUM THERA+A REGULAR FORMULA IN THE TANK TO SEE
IF THEY WOULD EAT IT OR NOT

    11. Include any pictures or videos you have which shows the symptoms. If you can't add them to this post, please provide a link to them.

Hi Tim, first be sure your pictures are less then 2MBs in size. Then use the "Insert Image" (Third icon from the right-hand side along the top of the reply box). Click on the From Computer tab and then on the basic uploader button. First you will select the pic using the browse button and then you will upload the pic using the upload files button. This should work from a cell phone if you are using the vB4 Default Style vs the Default Mobile Style. This is located at the bottom of the window in the left hand side.

Oh well file size is 467kb i don't know how that relates to 2mb i keep get a message saying you do not have permission to perform this action refresh page and log in. Thank you all for replying and last evening i read thru emergency room threads all types of stuff, and so what i did was i got all the gravel sub.. Out did a water change at 76% the fish was still in tank and i was scared to do more than that their top fin was almost out of the water so i filled the tank back up and now they are swimming back and forth don't look to be huffing and puffing like they did last evening and did better today at feeding it just goes to show what water change can do for these fish i amazed

I can't help with your pictures but I did see that you have 0 nitrate. This indicates that the tank isn't fully cycled. Keep up the massive WCs until the filter catches up.

Keep up the daily WC for what Liz stated and any remaining debris and gases from removing the substrate. Removing the substrate was a solid move. You might have a bacteria bloom since you are not cycled. Are they eating a little?

I don't want to confuse you any further with the recent issues not being able to post photos but answering to your post above about the nob filter....If filter was not in use I'm confident in saying what media you had inside has lost all living beneficial bacteria and would be best if that's the case to clean it out entirely as it may do more harm then good if it stops running and all that gunk drains back into tank.
I know your trying your best to keep up with the list of helpful recommendations but stay confident as we are here to help you succeed.
