Default Discus tank looking reef -ish :)

Ive bought a new led strips to enjoy my discus in a moon light effect after the lights are off . Ive liked the night look of the tank and my discus and I wanted to share a couple of photos with you . The tank started to look like a discus reef tank with the blue lights on at night though .

Does anyone else uses moon light or other night time dimmed light effects on their discus tanks?

I use a moon light. I work from home and my tank is in my Study. I turn on the Moon light and leave on my Study lights to transition them to “night-night”. Not needful but I enjoy it and they put up with me in exchange for food & water.

Nice pics Filip. I have a moonlight but never use it. After seeing your photos, I’m going to use the moonlights tonight.

To quote the question I get asked when ever someone who isn't an experienced fish keeper comes to my house.. "Is that Salt Water?" Need a few anemones and hard corals Filip but looking good!
