I think it has to do with the weather. Last I heard they weren't getting enough rain to support their ponds. I might be wrong.
Anyone know why they have suspended shipping worms?

I just ordered some yesterday through Amazon.
We're talking about live worms. There is no better Discus food than live CBWs period.

Oh, gotcha. I bought freeze-dried.
I heard it was because of the wild fires earlier this year and I've heard it's because they are expanding their operations, but they suspended shipments at least several months ago...
The web site says "shipments" are suspended. I'm not sure if they sell in person or not...
There's a place in the east that say they sell them, but they are a little more expensive and hard to buy from. I traded emails and phone calls for several weeks before I finally gave up trying to buy from them

I bought some in the past. I had several pounds and had to change water twice a day lol. They did have leeches but it was easy to take care of...I think people are concerned about disease but its fun to watch the fish so happy. It's also funny watching shrimp TRY and eat them.

I ordered them from Aquatic Foods (California Blackworms) several times in the past and my fish loved them. I want to order more soon. Never had any problems with disease,
