The redhook myleus, found in the Amazon . They are also called "silver dollars". These fish are capable of delivering serious bites to humans. Stands to reason that if the fish bites humans why would they not bite other fish, or anything else for that matter?
These silver dollars are related to the Piranha meat
eating but they are more vegetarian. They can be fast swimmers not a good fish around Discus.
