suspicious poop

Problem

1. Please explain the problems with your fish. When did you notice the problems and did anything unusual happen that you think started them?
just seen this suspicious poop floating in the tank don't which one of the five fish it came from

2. Symptoms (i.e. turning dark, excess slime, not eating, clamped fins, flashing, darting, clamped gills, white/yellow/green poop, hiding, headstanding or tailstanding, white on tips of fins, rotting or fungus, blisters/white zits on fish, bloated, cloudy eyes, wounds).
Fish not showing any sign at this point

3. What medications/ treatments have you already tried and what were the results. Include dosage and duration of treatment
haven't give any thing at this point


Tank/Water

4. Tank size and ages, numbers and sizes of fish.
29 gallon 5 fish 3 to 4 inches

5. Water change regime (What percentage and how often).
50% everyday 3rd or 4th day i do 90%

6. How long has tank been running? Is it bare bottom? If you have substrate, what type and how deep is it?
7 months yes bare bottom no subtrate

7. Do you age your water? If you do for how long and what is the ph swing.
yes 24 hours outof tap it is 6.4 24hours it is 6.2

8. Parameters and water source;

Note: Water Parameters are important in diagnosing problems within a tank. If you don't own test kits for the following information, you can purchase them, test your parameters and post this info as soon as possible.

What type of water or combinations of water sources do you use? If it is an RO/tap/well water mix, please list percentages in the mix.

9. Any new fish, plants or inverts added recently.
yes i put 3 snails from LFS and then i seen where that is not a good idea so i took them out went and talked to the fish rep about it he said " I GARANTEE YOU THE SNAILS ARE NOT CARRYING ANYTHING THEY ARE BREED IN HOUSE AND I TREAT THE TANKS HERE TO KILL ANYTHING THAT FISH COMING IN MAY BE CARRYING, IF THE SNAIL HAD SOMETHING TO PASS TO YOUR TANK EVERY FISH HERE WOULD BE SICK" i don't know I do trust what he tells me because my Daughter is a floor manager there he knows he will have to face both she and myself

10. Please tell us what you feed your fish and how often. This can be critical information for solving the problem so be as specific as you can. Al's FDBW, TETRA TROPICAL FLAKES, FROZEN BEEFHEART PLUS FROM SAN FRACISCO BAY BRAND

possibly.. Its hard to tell but looks like shed lining.I wouldnt do anything at this point but watch and try and Id the fish.

One note on the petshop guys comments..

Be skeptical.Without knowing what you are treating for to treat at all makes no sense. That plus most chemicals used to kill parasites also kill or are toxic to snails. Im not saying your problem here came from snails but the lfs reason for why it didn't come from his snails does not hold water if you think about it. again.. not saying the snails are at fault.. just that the reasoning why they arent at fault, is faulty.

Thanks Al. I have removed the snails and I understand what you are saying I still trust you more... Your experience level surpasses theirs and mine. That's why I posted here to get your and SD Community advise and opinions. Thanks you very much

Just one more thing a couple of the fish have what look to be blister on flank or maybe it is a scale it is too small for me to say Wich that it is and I have tried to and just can't get a good clear picture of it. To post I will still try to get a good clear picture

You can also search "Pimple" on the forum.If its these theres alot of posts on them, causes and treatments.

To me it look like the top end of a scale I looked through the pimple post and didn't see a picture the same as what I'm seeing and under same light fish in same position it doesn't look like this
