    Default Community tank setup

    Hello there,
We've got fry that hatched in our community tank 27 day ago as our first baby discus experience so we left them in and managed to grow them. It's actually quite good as only one stunted one died yesterday. We separated the tank in a 30 gal/90gal portions leaving the other fishes away from the pack.

I wanna know when it would be a good time to release the baby in the whole tank (transfering the other fishes and dad in a 45g tank elsewhere or leaving them in)
We have 3 ancistrus, 4 corydras, 3 siamensis, 3 scissor tails, 5 tetras. Let me know what you'd do (waiting a couple weeks wit this setting or something else).

    Thx!

    Hi Raphael,
I’m sorry I don’t know the answer to your question, but I had to comment on those babies- HOW CUTE! I’m not sure there are a lot of people breeding in community tanks. Hopefully they will chime in or you will have to lead the way. You sure have done everything right so far. Keep us posted and good luck with these cutie pies.

I usually move the fry to a new tank between 3 to 10
    days after free swimming
