Default Tankmates for Discus in a 125 Gallon

I have two Hydor 600 canister filters, and am wondering if I could have room for more fish, I have too much, or what I have is good. Currently I'm planning on:
    8 Discus
    24 Cardinal Tetra's
    If there's more room:
    3 Angels
And or 1 Gold Nugget Pleco.
I'd like the fish to be comfortable and not overstock. AqAdvisor with everything says it's at 101%, but I know that can be very inaccurate. I heard a good rule of thumb for Discus is one per 10-15 gallons, which if that's the case then this would definitely be overstocking. I already have the Discus and Cardinals, every other possibility is another variable. I could always leave things as is, but anything is going into consideration.

Maybe a pair of small harem of warm water Apistos? Also, small group of banjo catsare neat. Small central American gobies are fun. Hatchets if floating plants and good lid coverage.

I like angels but not so much with my discus community since a pair will rule tank once established. I like growing out a few small angels for my wife's classroom tank though. Rams are fun but gateway drug to true Apistos. Apistos can go nuts on discus with spawn but more like fleas to a dog compared to angels with spawn. I have 2 raphaels in my tank now too with no prob... Very fat but leave discus alone. My lemons I love and my BNs need to stop reproducing.

    Lol...they are!

Also, use tetras as "canaries"... if some die all of a sudden then "check yo self"

    Festivums okay as well.

Overstocking is more a function of your water change frequency than tank size. My 110 bare bottom has 30+ corys, 20+ tetras and 6 full grown discus. Even with 50%+ daily water changes, I'm definitely at capacity. Each discus will need 10 - 15 gallons for themselves if you want them to reach 6".

I’d toss in a few Corys........like the bottom cleaned up in my tanks.
