OK, so after a few years without Discus i have the bug again and we just moved and I have a bigger garage to work with. But i want to see your setups for ideas on stand builds and plumbing that is working for you. Please add pictures I'm a visual kind of person. Thank you in advance.

Not as nice as yours, is that a garage or a separate room in the basement...……….Jim in Ohio

It was an attached carport that we enclosed.

After I had my house built I discovered I could still afford a 20 X 20 fish room. I already had the tanks and all the equipment. It's a separate build attached to the house, off the laundry room.

Good idea, looks great how long did it take to finish it all to accept the tanks and fish?

This was 10 years ago but I really don't remember. I figure a couple of weeks. Once these carpenters get on a job they want to knock it out so they can move on to their next job. Back then I only had about 300 gallons of tanks in the house so there weren't nearly as many fish as I have down there now.

If I ever decide to quit doing woodworking, I have a 20x22 space off the kitchen to copy off you Liz! Best part is it’s a slab with heat and a/c already in place. And all the water changes could be sent to the greenhouse I’m building.
