Minnesota water is awful so I had to take a lot of extra steps to make it work, mainly having my own RO system. Happy to say, it's been going good. I decided to do a planted tank this time, so I've spent the last year learning a lot. Here are my results as of two days ago. Glad to be back.

    Welcome back to the hobby and this forum Curtis .
    You have a very nice planted tank in your video .
    How long do you have this set up and keep your discus in there ?
    The only thing I would change is to add some more discus in it .

    I couldn't agree more. I just ordered 4 more from Uncle Sam's. They arrive on Thursday.

    If you take the "s" out of https when you paste your link into the "insert video" tab it loads like this;
    Great looking planted tank. Do you use ferts? Cheers

    Thanks for the tip! I do ferts with Seachem products, but thinking of changing to dry ferts or maybe easy green.

    I really love the carpet of plants in your tank. It looks like it would be hard to maintain. Is it difficult fert or light wise? Do you need CO2? A lot of trimming? I’m thinking there’s a reason everyone doesn’t have it. Is this the culmination of mastering planted tanks?
    I like your shrimp tank too. You have an artistic way of turning your rock into a mountainside that I get lost in. Very cool-very Zen. What is that glass tube suction cupped to the glass?

    Hi Stephane and welcome to the club . Together we can help you to overcome your addiction . Just kidding .
    Great looking planted tank , spottlesly maintained as always . Your Aro has put some bulk since your last update . Can't wait to see your next scape and selection of fish in it since you are always suprising .
