Default Dark Skin showing White Patches

Hi, in the 25 years I've kept discus I've never come across a fish which displayed the symptoms I've found this past few weeks. The fish has started to hide in the top corner of the tank and after turning dark is now displaying large white patches whilst also not eating. Nothing has been added to the tank and the fish has always been healthy for the 2 years I've had it. None of the other fish have any similar symptoms and the tank water parameters are normal (0 ammonia, 0 Nitrite, Nitrate <5ppm, Phosphate <0.1ppm, Temp 28C, PH6.4). Any ideas and recommendations? B

It sounds like what is called a fungal infection, but is actually bacterial infection, treatable with Furan 2. Just to be sure, and to perhaps find the cause of it, it would help if you would fill out the form.

As I suspected, not sure what i can do now as the fish is looking emaciated and my hospital tank isn't up and running so unless I can get the small tank heated and ready I've got a problem. Thanks guys. B

In a pinch even a rubbermade tub will work as a hospitol tank.

My hospital tank was actually okay i.e the water parameters were similar to the show tank it was just not running with a power filter however as there's a decent level of substrate it should be fine with just one fish in a 30 gallon Jewel. To make sure I changed 3/4 of the water with that from the show tank and the fish seems calm, fins down not pinched. I've left it unlit with just the room's ambient light. Not sure if I can get Furan where I live will need to source a fungus treatment that's available in the UK. B

Pics would help but I would try salt dips first.

Pictures I've taken don't show much. Basically the fish is very dark, emaciated and has large whitish patches over the body, not the cotton puffs associated with cuts, which almost look like a sheen but are clearly white. B
