Default My Discus fry different color?

I have around 50 fry. They are more then a week attached and some look brown in color and some are quite a bit blacker and more silver. Does this mean anything. Big difference in there appearance. Was just wondering if Heath or eating had anything to do with this .....

If I am learning anything about genetics a non-PB x PB = some solid, some patterns, lots of pepper. Hopefully someone with experience will chime in...

The lighter color fry are pigeon and the darker colors
    are non-pigeon turquoise.

Cliff, question, plz remember I'm a newby to discus genetics, so the qn is honest; how can the darker ones be "non-pigeon" if one of the parents is pigeon? Even of they don't display any PB characteristics, wouldn't their genes have PB in them? Cheers mate

Hi the darker brown inherited the color from the turquoise looking they are still young but
after a couple of weeks these darker brown Discus
should show their stress bars unlike the Pigeon
type they don't have any stress bars. The Pigeon
fry usually are more of a yellow/buff color too.

I breed and supply Discus to wholesalers .

So my female is a King Floria and my Male is I believe a red melon? Do you think any of these will become another King Flora? Also how is it that any would be Yellow? Thanks ....

They are now over a week after bring attached. They seem to not be as attached and swim further from Mom. They eat off the bottom and some beefheart scraps from Mom.

Do I have to Worry about Mom eating them still?

    When do I remove Mom?

I would like to leave the Mom in there as long as possible.
