Default How to introduce Remy Nose Tetras to my Discus tank?

I've had my Discus tank for 3+ weeks and I want to introduce Remy Nose Tetras to the tank, what steps should I take?

    Thanks,

Well I'm no pro but..what I would do is quarantine the rummy nose for 6 weeks. I'f they still look beautiful, then you can risk one discus. Add in one discus(hero discus) to the Tetra tank. If the discus survives after at least a few weeks, then you can add all the fish in together. If the hero fish dies, then he dies a martyr, saving all your other discus the same fate, but I'm just a newbie, I'm sure better answers will be posted in 3..2..1..

Thanks for the info. I miss the good all days when you just add fish from the store and not worry about quarantine..

It seems too risky to add anything even new discus Without having to jump through 15 hoops kind of sucks.

It is the suggested way when adding new discus or anything else...it's not risky if you do it the right way...the more time invested in doing it right the less risk...that's life with discus...
