Take the frozen mix place it on cutting board and use a sharp knife to shave off pieces. Feed these.. its not likely to float fed like this. Ive made a lot of homemade mixes but never had a problem with it floating.

Thaw the food, then it will easily break into small pieces that will sink. If you want it to sink without thawing, your will need to break it into small pieces before you feed.
I know that, if nothing else it will sink because the ice melts, but I don't want to feed small pieces because the fish are not as interested in them plus they foul the water much more quickly, and are a pain to clean up. Still thanks for the input
