Default F1 Wild Green X Blue snakeskin fry for sale, CT P/U or shipping.

    Hi all,
You may remember I have been working with a bunch of wild crosses and wild X wild prs this past year. One of my goals was to go back to something I did before and breed wild greens crossed to snakeskins..
I have had some nice success doing this and that part of my program is well on the way. I have had several spawns now from my wild green male X fine line snake skin and due to space constraints I have to let some go.. My latest batch is quarter size. I have had a lot of inquiries for these since I posted the pair and was reluctant to sell them. If I could I would keep them all. They are quarter size. Minimum order is 8 pcs.

Price is firm at $30 each, even though they are quarter size. These are not something common, nor do I have alot of them. I do not expect more for a while as the pair is resting. They are currently quarter size. Minimum order is 8 pcs.

    Pictures today..

You may wonder what these will look like? I honestly can't tell you, except the snakeskins will look like snakeskins. and the others are a total mystery, In the past I got fish that looked like red and blue turqs as well as some that looked more like wild blues.(superficially) . I would consider these fish intermediaries.

Who are these fry for? Anyone looking to breed something different or add wild genes to their stock. Also anyone that wants something uncommon., lastly they are perfect for the person that likes going to the casino.. taking chances, etc. As a cross of wild fish to a domestic, with snakeskin thrown in , it could be a very interesting fish.

    Interested , please pm me.

    Thanks,
    Al

Do you have older siblings of these that we could see or is this their first spawn? The fish look very good, buy thst's a lot to invest in baby Discus without documentation of what that cross has produced. I'm sure you know that I'm insanely interested. That particular cross turns me on.

    Liz,
I do have some of the older sibling by a few months but as I said you aren't going to see anything eye popping at a few months old. Snakeskins look like snakeskins.. Turqs like turqs etc. You may not see anything eye popping at adult as these are F1 crosses. At this point I havent even culled for shape in that older tank as I dont want to miss anything that develops as they age.I will try and take a few pics.

I have raised this cross to adult before but not with these particular individual fish. That cross is documented here..

Please understand that these fry probably will look nothing like that crosses. But what they will look like as adult is something I can not tell you at this point.

As for the price.. One of the rules of the classified section here is not to question the price someone is selling their fish at. Thats the sellers decision (comments about the quality or price of an item (good or bad), will be removed as the moderators see them. )Would it be more reasonable a price if I gave them a fancy name? I thought I might call them something like Super Andromeda Greens lol Just kidding. .. Pet peeve I have.

I know you arent really concerned with what I am selling my fry for dollar wise but more as what you get for the fry appearance wise at this cost so.you can justify to yourself buying them and I understand that. But since I plan on selling more f1 crosses here and f1 wild x wild s I figured I would address this now in general for everyone. Crosses are very variable. So when I sell crosses I sell them based on their actual genetics not their appearance so people know exactly what they are getting genetically. Which is alls I know for sure. The price is based on their genetics and how few I have. Basic supply and demand.

I hope you and everyone else understands.
    Thanks,
    Al

Ps.. Speaking of supply and demand. The supply has gotten much smaller. I only have enough now for a few orders more.

I updated the pair thread with pics from earlier spawns. They are still only a few months old in the pics, and developing colors still but it will give you an idea of the variable patterns this cross produces.
