Absolutely gorgeous Fish Lucas! The tank looks great also. Thanks for Sharing!

How long have you had that group? Those Heckels are really something.

Wow , Heckels and Altums in a natural planted tank , it's a double win if you ask me .
Do you have any aggresion problems having only 4 discus in the tank ?
What parameters do you keep them in and whats your filtration/WC regime of this tank ?
Please share some more info and photos of your tank Lukasz .

    Hi.

    OK
    GH 8
    KH 2
    pH 5 - 6,5 - water change 30% one of the week
Heckel's they swim in the aquarium for over 15 months
Filtration 2 Eheim 2226 and 2228, and one mechanic filter 2000l/h
    Water temperature 26
    UV lamp 18W

There are 5 discuss and wars do happen, which is normal. The more so because I have a pair of Heckel's who defends the territory

    Now a few older pics:

Very nice Heckels Łukasz, nice, thick and round. Sounds like they are doing very well. What size tank is this?

    The aquarium has 150x50x50cm...only...

Soon they will jump to a larger tank, and with them a team that undergoes treatment in a quarantine.

Can't wait to see your new additions and the bigger tank Lukasz .Many people recomends Dirk Shilingmans - Discus protector prior mixing different stocks , so maybe its something to consider with your priced stock .

No thanks. I will not overpay for salt and methylrosanilinii chloridum.
I have my own ways to combine fish and whirling disease also

Gorgeous, thick heckels. Their suffering is legendary even in hell. . What do you feed them?

I didn't know that discus protector recipe was already busted .I always thought it has something to do with PP because of it's pink colour until now .

Would you care to share your Enrofloksacine bath method (dose and duration )for mixing discus and for hadling the whirling disease oftenly seen in wild discus ?
