    Default Tapeworm Quarantine

    Hey All,

I plan on getting my 2nd batch of Discus and being prepped for quarantine.
So I've read about dosing Prazi for tapeworm Twice or Thrice in Weekly intervals.
I plan on dosing on Day 1, Day 7, Day 14 and Day 21 because I have copepods sometimes in my water supply. Temperature will be 30C/86F.

    Does it sound sensible?

I read an aquaculture document that says they dosed for Tapeworms with Prazi on Day 1 and Day 20 in a pond with copepods. Dosing twice eliminated the parasite. Link below:

Check with your importer. Many of the sellers on this site already treat their fish. You still want to quarantine, but there may be no reason to treat again. These treatments are rough on discus and may not always be necessary to repeat.

At my age, everything is irritating.
