I've been enamored of these wild blooded Discus for a long time. Domestics have been refined and artificially colored to the point that they no longer appeal to me. May be one day I'll buy some little ones to grow out. Right now I still have hopes for the little breeding project I'm concentrating on.

Who says all the best have to be imported? It's not true. We have started to get it on right here in our own country.

I agree Liz, The more hobbyists breed with a purpose the more we can improve it too. I am glad thats Pats group is doing so well also as I know she wanted these bad. It also increases the chances that we will have F2s even if something should happen to either of our F1 groups. I thinks whats also nice here is we have documented the parentage and the importer. We know that at this point these are really F1 wilds. That to me is a very important part of any breeding program.

Love watching F1 Discus updates. Pat and Al you both did great job Love those patterns.
A few from tonight. You place a light on the tank and they go hide in a corner so this is from about 45 mins of waiting for them to get comfortable.
