Not sure Steve but would suggest watching the fish closely and if anything seems amiss do a very fast water change.

I almost called this "put a sock in it" so there it is. Long story.
I have a 75 with a swiss foam divider, pairs on both sides, with sponge filters also on both sides. i got a nice batch of wigglers from one pair. Close to free swimming, so I wanted to remove the sponge. I found an old pair of white socks, tried to rinse them very well, and put the filter assembly (no sponge) inside the socks. I think it's doing what I want for now. I'll return the sponge once they've attached, if not sooner. So, despite my effort, I think i have a small amount of foam from detergent in the socks, very small. I was doing a water change at the same time as I put in the sock, so it got rinsed again, you could say. I added a dose of Safe, to be safe.
Will the residue cause any issues?

Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
I'll change water again soon anyway, so hopefully any issues will dissipate. The foam divider is new, and I see the bubbles on the other side from the sock, also. Regardless, question is about the same. Will the P have an effect?
Thanks Pat. Parents and fry are doing as well as ever, and actually better this time around than the last few spawns. I think I finally got my timing right for them.
Next time cut up white women's hose and cover your filter with that.

Liz, is that white women’s hose or women’s white hose? Ron
