Default Where to buy discus (other fish) online

I have been talking to the Wet Spot in Portland, unfortunately the shipping is to expensive to ship to Central IL. Are there places in the Midwest that sell online? My LFS has new owners who don't quarantine their fish and the last fish I got there wiped out all my one of my fish. I got a replacement pleco, but I lost most of my fish. I believe that they were to eager to open their fresh water side of the store.

Only buy from our Sponsors here. Trust me, it works out so much better. Also, you may be within driving distance to Chicago Discus. GCCA also has swap meets the year around for plecos, etc.

ALWAYS QUARANTINE YOURSELF. If you don't have a quarantine tank, I'd suggest that you don't buy fish. It's that critical.

I have checked the links above and they only sell discus. Right now I'm just looking for tetras and other community fish.

For Discus I suggest that you follow the advice that was given to you. For other fish check out Aquabid. When you find something you like, look at the seller's feed back.

I usually visit a local pet store first before searching online. I hope that you will be able to find a reputable shop to get some discus.

John was hurt by a hurricane and later had some medical issues. I have heard he hopes to be back in business within a year or two. He was a great source for fish.

AquaticClarity.com - Jeff Michels in Hubertus, WI ships, although seeing his fishroom is a real treat. He just updated his fish list. He stock is healthy and he has things no one else does.

Including wild Discus, but you'll find your Tetras and other fish, too.
