Hi Stanica, do a couple of large water change and check for ammonia/nitrite in case a mini-cycle is happening from the increased bio-load. Did you put these guys in a QT?
Pat
This morning I received two four-inch discus from Hans. They arrived healthy and beautiful. It wasn’t until I got home seven hours later that I realized that the new heater I had purchased wasn’t working properly and the water temperature in their QT tank was 78°. I was so upset. The snakeskin seemed fine, but the turquoise had clamped fins and was clearly unhappy. I got a new heater and the temperature is now 86°. The snakeskin still appears fine, but the turquoise is still dark and has clamped Fins. I can’t believe this happened. I don’t want this fish to get worse and die on me. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Your discus are talking to you....are you listening
Pat -Yes, they are in a 20 gallon qt tank by themselves. I will keep up with the weather changes. Thank you.
I communicated with Hans last night. He said the turq was probably just stressed from travel, lower temp, new tank etc. and see how it is in the morning. Sure enough, this morning the discus had no clamped fins, ate and seems fine. Looks like Hans was right - he’s such a nice guy. Problem solved! Thanks!
Hansie knows his Discus, and he is so willing to help. He is a good man.

I'm curious, did Hans recommend massive water changes,as that's something he does not do.
