A very reputable Discus dealer told me 90% of the fish sold don't make it to their first year. With advice like that, it's no wonder. People will spend thousands on their setups and won't take 30 mins to do a WC, it's crazy. I read someone here once who posted "Change water 3x week or expect problems"
