a 10 to 1 Clorox solution or a heavy dose of PP. You'll have to nuke the filter, too.

Thanks Liz, is that 10 parts water to 1 part Clorox? Also can I use a spray solution of this or should I fill tank with it?

Yes, 10 parts water to 1 part Clorox. I can't see why spraying or wiping it on wouldn't work.

Just don’t do what I did and put the foam filter in a bucket with the bleach water and forget it, it melted the foam. Lesson learned!
